Paraphernalia for Celebration

Welcome to Herb Majicks!

Welcome to ceremonial and ritual tools with integrity.  Since 1995, I have been making incenses, anointing oils, bath salts and other ceremonial paraphernalia for Wiccan practice from 100% natural materials.  This is my passion.  This is my craft.

Come, celebrate with me.

Majickal Aromasols.

I take enormous pride in my work, and hope that you'll find something in this catalog that you like. I also can create custom orders; email and let me know what you're looking for.  This is pretty much a one-witch-show: I am R & D, gardener, wildcrafter, formulator, blender, QC, order desk, shipping department, and now web mistress.  My partner Cee, Goddess Bless her, is my bookeeper-arithromancer extrordinaire.  She very sweetly puts up with my peculiar obsessions and will just as sweetly give you a hand with your orders and questions if I am unavailable.  Take a look around and check back often: new items are being loaded every week.
I look forward to working Majick with you.  Blessed Be!

The Circle is cast, the Fire is lit; let the ritual begin.

Thank you for supporting woman-owned small business!

August Eve: Feast of First Harvests

For today's post I will draw from a letter I wrote to celebrants for this Feast in a year gone by:

'Habondia dressed in flowing greens, browns, reds and gold, stands before us, her radiant face smiling, her arms laden with fruits, grains, flowers, and fungi.
"I bring you this sweet bounty, the gifts made of my Sister the Sun, and my Mother the Earth.  Take and eat with gladness in your hearts, be nourished by our love; for you are our children and your prosperity is our desire."

Midsummer just past, the days are shortening yet the heat of the sun seems still to increase--we are warmed to our bones and bask in glowing Well-Being.  We are ripening, as heavy and full as the fruits ripening and weighing down the trees and brambles and vines which surround us.  Now is the time for the first harvest: we begin to gather and savor the fruits of our hard labors (and playful creativity!) this year.
August Eve, Traditionally known as Lammas or Lughnasad (Loon-uh-suh) in the Celtic-oriented branch of the Craft, is the cross-quarter day sacred to (among others) the goddess Habondia.  She is the bearer of the Cornucopia, who pours abundance out upon the Earth and in return asks only enjoyment, celebration and thanksgiving.
...(For our ritual,)Please bring summer foods: fruit and vegetable salads, herbal sun-tea, any ripe  produce from your home gardens, etc., a green, yellow or red candle, your beads, instruments, flowers for the altar if you have some, and any thing else you are inspired to bring.
There is much to celebrate, much to be thankful for...'

I am sure your celebrations will be as memorable as this one is for me.

Check out the sale on August Eve incense:  15% off on both sizes until 12 midnight Pacific Time, Monday, August 3rd 2009.

Blessed Be,
~Rae
