Paraphernalia for Celebration

Welcome to Herb Majicks!

Welcome to ceremonial and ritual tools with integrity.  Since 1995, I have been making incenses, anointing oils, bath salts and other ceremonial paraphernalia for Wiccan practice from 100% natural materials.  This is my passion.  This is my craft.

Come, celebrate with me.

Majickal Aromasols.

I take enormous pride in my work, and hope that you'll find something in this catalog that you like. I also can create custom orders; email and let me know what you're looking for.

Please note that at this time I am only shipping to locations inside the US.  Wholesale inquiries should be directed to info@herbmajicks(dot)com.

This is pretty much a one-witch-show: I am R & D, gardener, wildcrafter, formulator, blender, QC, order desk, shipping department, and now web mistress.  My partner Cee, Goddess Bless her, is my bookeeper-arithromancer extrordinaire.  She very sweetly puts up with my peculiar obsessions and will just as sweetly give you a hand with your orders and questions if I am unavailable.

I look forward to working Majick with you.  Blessed Be!

The Circle is cast, the Fire is lit; let the ritual begin.

Thank you for supporting woman-owned small business!

Equinox de Jeune Fille

Warm breezes, Indian plum blossoms, the flurry of birds in the trees, crocus in full glory, daffodils swelling towards bursting:  all around us are the signs of the arrival of spring.   With the coming of balanced night and day, all Beings are pushing through the last limitations of winter—rising up through the soil, unfolding to a long-absent sun, awakening to new warmth.

In celebrating the spring equinox*, we too release our limitations of the season passed; we invite equilibrium into our lives to prepare for the flux towards summer.  Equinox is but a moment, a single deep breath on the wheel of the year.  Yet this still-point of quiescence holds the seed—the potential—for all movement beyond itself.  Just as folklore tells us we can forecast the weather of an entire season based on the conditions during the full moon nearest an equinox or solstice, the intentions we hold in this moment of symmetry lead us on naturally towards their own fulfillment.

This is the power we will meet, this is the dance we will join, and this is the majick we will midwife on Eostara’s night.

                What seeds crouch within
                            feeding on darkness
drinking the moisture of the moon
                What plump buds
                            life tightly folded
                            await warmth, light
In me, eager anticipation of my own flowering
                            revealing winter's secret work
                Sprouts decare themselves: Bean!  Squash!
                Leaves unful, crying: Oak!  Elm!
                I call out my name
                I know who I am
                            who I have been
I open to who I will be
                            defying the season of doubt
in which the seeds of my spirit were sown²

Gather together in hues of emergence, light pale green candles, sing and dance for Persephone’s return.  Feast on eggs and sprouts and tender greens.  Share soda biscuits and sparkling waters.

Blessed Be,

~Rae
