Most folks are drawn to crystals--they are beautiful and come in facinating forms.  They also store and emanate discernible energies which can be utilized for healing and majickal work.  Many traditional spells will call for one crystal or another to help power or direct energy in the working.  Crystals are commonly called upon to stand in as sentinals for Circle, to anchor altars and protect the wearer.  Here are just a few books to help you start on the journey of Crystal Majick.

Below are listed several titles I have not read or reviewed, yet I find interesting.  Perhaps I will pick one up soon.  What are your suggestions?  Let me know by signing into my Guest Book.

Cunningham's Encycopedia is a fine reference.  It is a little rudimentary to be properly called encycopedic.  Be that as it may, I can still recommend you give it a lttle shelf space if you are drawn to using crystals and semiprecious gems in your spellwork.  Keep an eye out for other titles to use in concert, such as...

Ms. Hall has considerable experience with the majickal and healing properties of crystals and has been able to create a lovely reference for your introduction to this work.  She has included a section of 'manuals' indicating ways to use the crystals in healing work, as well as meditations for most all the individual stones.  Again, perhaps not the be-all-end-all of resources for crystal majick; yet I have found myself referring to it regularly for the stones I do not know intimately.

Keep in mind that many of the titles in Wicca 101 devote some pages to working with crystals!
